MM Journals for analysis of leaf movment image data.



'BRASS.IMA'

This configures MM to measure and log data in the correct format for analysis using BRASS.xls.

Place the file 'BRASS.IMA' into the folder c:\MM.

When you load up MM, go to the menu 'Measure'>'Integrated morphometry analysis' to open the dialog box. Press 'Load state' an navigate to BRASS.IMA.

Note this must be done each time MM is loaded before leaf movement analysis.





'CentroidA.JNL' and 'CentroidB.JNL'

Drag and drop these journals into C:\MM\APP\MMPROC\JOURNALS

'CentroidB.JNL' measures and logs data from the active plane of the stack.

'CentroidA.JNL' saves the set regions, opens up a Excel to log data to and then loops 'CentroisB.JNL' for each plane of the stack





To carry out leaf movement analysis:

1a(Load BRASS.IMA file)
1. Build a stack of your image data.
2. Apply an inclusinve threshold to the stack so that the leaves are picked out against      the background.
3. Set regions in the area that each individual primary leaf is active in.
4. Run 'CentroidA.JNL.'
5. Save the data log and import into 'BRASS.xls' for further analysis.
