These are the Journals that control leaf movment data aquisition. Drag and drop the fileS into the folder C:\MM\APP\MMPROC\JOURNALS Outline of journals contained. Journals 'OP 00.jnl' to 'OP 32.jnl' These journals control the Parallel Port Controller Units, which in turn select the channels on the 16 Channel Camera Switcher Units. 'Select LTP2.JNL' & 'Select LPT3.JNL' As we have two 16 Channel Camera Switchers we needed 2 parallel port controller units. These two journals enable us to coordinate which parallel port MM is talking to. 'CAM 01.JNL' to 'CAM 32.JNL' These journals select the active channels on the Camera Switcher Units using the above two sets of journals. Note we loop Cameras 1 - 16 (controlled by the first Camera Switcher Unit) via the last channel on the second Camera Switcher Unit. Thus for Cameras 1- 16 the journals first select the last channel on Swircher 2 before selecting the required channel on Switcher 1. 'Acq01A.JNL' to 'Acq31A.JNL' The Acq.JNLs first select the cameras using the CAM.JNLs. They then set up a sequential file name and run 'GRAB.JNL' which captures images from the live channels and saves them to the set sequential filenames and paths. Note to help with data management we produced 2 sets of camera folders to save data to, as set in the sequential file names. They are distinguished by the suffixes 'A' and 'B'. Aside from the location the Journals save the data to, the 'A' and 'B' journals are identical. 'Camera Sets' In this folder are Journals which run sets of the 'Acq.JNLs'. By using the 'Multi-journal timelapse' function of MM (add in tlaplse2), we run the jounals for sets of cameras at 20 minute intervals.
